Here are pictures from John Bedini’s presentation and demonstration of a self-running motor. This machine is really three machines in one and is the first one I saw 16 years ago when I first met John.

It runs on some 25+ year old D cell batteries in the bottom of the machine that are corroded so bad that it’s held in by tape. When John turns the rotor, it starts to run, turning a propeller and lighting LED’s while charging up its own run battery!

By the end of the presentation, it was running about 25-30% faster than it was from the beginning of the talk. That isn’t because it took that much time to finally get up to speed, but because it actually charged up the input battery higher than where it was when it started. The old corroded battery is essentially acting as a dry cell capacitor.
